A House of Representatives Member representing Abeokuta South Federal Constituency, Hon. Afolabi Afuape, has fulfilled his campaign promise to the people of Olokuta, Abeokuta, by commencing the construction of the long-neglected road in the area.
It was learned that the lawmaker, moved by the tragic death of a pregnant woman and her unborn child due to the poor state of the road during his campaign, vowed to reconstruct it if elected.

“Today, by God’s grace, I am delighted to announce that work on this road has commenced.
“With your ongoing support, we can achieve more to deliver good governance to our people,” he concluded.
