The Assistant Inspector-General of Police (AIG) for Zone 2, Lagos, AIG Adegoke Fayoade, mni, has officially commissioned a newly built Police Division in Ijora Badia.
The station was constructed from start to finish by the Apapa Iganmu Local Council Development Area (LCDA) under the leadership of Alhaja (Dr.) Funmilayo Akande Muhammed.
In a press release issued by the council, the new Police Division is expected to enhance law enforcement in the area. “The newly built Police Division is expected to improve response times and strengthen community policing initiatives in the Ijora Badia area of Lagos State,” the statement read.
This development aims to boost security and foster a stronger collaboration between the police and the local community.
