Breaking: Finnish Authorities Arrest Simon Ekpa, Four Others Over Terrorism-Related Activities

Pro-Biafra activist Simon Ekpa, along with four others, has been arrested by Finnish authorities in connection with terrorism-related offenses.

Timeless Update gathered that Ekpa, who identifies as the Prime Minister of the Biafra Republic Government In-Exile, was remanded by the Päijät-Häme district court. He faces charges of public incitement to commit crimes with terrorist intent.

While Ekpa was apprehended on suspicion of incitement, the four others were detained for allegedly financing terrorism-related activities.

A statement from Finland’s Central Criminal Police disclosed that the investigation involves a Nigerian-born Finnish citizen, born in the 1980s, suspected of inciting crimes with terrorist intent.

According to the statement, “The police suspect that the man has used his base in Finland to promote activities that resulted in violence against civilians, authorities, and other crimes in South-Eastern Nigeria.”

Crime Commissioner Otto Hiltunen of Finland’s Central Criminal Police stated, “The suspect has carried out these activities through various means, including his social media platforms.”
