The OYRTMA Chairman, Major Adesagba Adekoya, announced this in a statement signed by the state Commissioner for Information, Dotun Oyelade, in Ibadan, the state capital.
Adekoya, who noted that about 2,450 applications were received from qualified candidates, made this known during the screening exercise held at OYRTMA’s operational headquarters, Sanyo, Ibadan.
He emphasized that the screening exercise was a reflection of Governor Makinde’s responsive governance, aimed at increasing the strength of OYRTMA with 338 officers.
The chairman explained that the approval followed the revalidated approval policy signed in 2021.
He said, “Today, we have able-bodied men and women from Ogbomosho, Ibarapa, Oke-Ogun, Oyo town, and Ibadan, competing for various positions in OYRTMA.
