Multichoice, the owners of DSTV, are set to implement another round of price hikes on their decoders and installation kits! Without subscription, the price for a full kit GOtv is skyrocketing to a staggering ₦56,000, while DStv will be sold for ₦100,000!

While this information was released by a top official on the condition of anonymity, we await the official announcement from Multichoice.

Last year, Multichoice already announced a significant price surge of at least 19% across all bouquets, with the new prices taking effect from November 6, 2023.

Multichoice pointing fingers at Nigeria’s economic challenges, including high inflation and a weakened Naira, as reasons for yet another increase.

Nigerians are advised to brace themselves: the DSTV full kit is now hitting an eye-watering ₦100,000!
