The Shepherd-in-charge of Celestial Church of Christ, Grace of Comfort Parish, Olagbaju Moris Gbade Fadehan, tragically killed allegedly by his assistant pastor, Evangelist Olalekan Ogundipe.

Reports indicate that Fadehan was fatally attacked as he prayed on the church altar in Obaloran Quarters, Omitoto Lane 2, Oke Ado, Ilode, Ile-Ife, Osun State, on Monday. Sources suggest Ogundipe struck Fadehan with the church bell, then inflicted further injuries with nails on his skull and ears before setting him ablaze.

This shocking incident occurred shortly after Fadehan had reportedly threatened to dismiss Ogundipe due to negative reports. Ogundipe is also accused of assaulting other senior leaders of the church.

The suspect has been apprehended and is currently in custody at the Iloro Divisional Police Station in Ile-Ife. We await further updates from the Osun State Police Command.
