The First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Remi Tinubu, accompanied by the wives of the Vice President, Nana Kashim Shettima, the Speaker of the National Assembly, Aisha Tajudeen Abbas, and the Jigawa State Governor, Hadiza Umar Namadi, among other dignitaries, extended her condolences to Governor Umar Namadi, his wife, the state government, and the people of Jigawa over the recent loss of his mother, Hajiya Maryam Namadi, and his eldest son, Abdulwahab Umar Namadi.
The First Lady offered prayers for the repose of the souls of the deceased and asked for divine strength and comfort for the grieving family during this difficult period.
Governor Umar Namadi expressed his gratitude for the First Lady’s visit, describing it as a significant show of care and support from President Tinubu and the First Lady towards his family, the Jigawa State government, and its people in this moment of sorrow.
