The Governor made the commitment while inaugurating a recently constructed hospital road in Ogijo, Sagamu Local Government on Tuesday, promising the people of the area additional projects to boost economic development.

He mentioned that his administration has built over 600 kilometers of roads across the state in the last five years, and more roads would be opened at Iperu and Ilaro during the week.

According to the governor, the Ogijo community is one of the industrial zones of the state, enjoying gas distribution. He stated that his administration has resolved electricity challenges in the community by providing transformers and other electrical equipment.

“This community is vital to us, being not only a border town but also an industrial hub. I assure you that this community will witness further development. I urge the Kabiyesi to collaborate with the local government chairman, community development associations, and all relevant stakeholders to prioritize and execute projects,” he said.

While stressing that his administration would not make empty promises, the governor stated that the road commissioning marked the beginning of a series of project inaugurations to commemorate the first year of his second term.
