The 13th Gateway International Trade Fair concluded with a closing ceremony attended by key stakeholders from across the state. Engr. Noimot Salako-Oyedele, the Deputy Governor of Ogun State, represented His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun CON, at the event, where she conveyed his appreciation to the over 120 industrialists and entrepreneurs who participated in this year’s trade fair.

In his message, Governor Abiodun applauded the President of the Ogun State Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines, and Agriculture (OGUNCCIMA), Engr. Mike Akingbade, and the entire chamber for their efforts in hosting a successful 11-day event that set a new benchmark in terms of attendance and business engagement.

The Governor also highlighted various strategic initiatives that his administration has implemented to create a conducive environment for investment and sustainable development in Ogun State.

These initiatives include the establishment of OGUNINVEST, the Office of Public-Private Partnership (PPP), the Bureau of Public Procurement, the Business Environment Council (BEC), and the Enterprise Development Agency. These organizations work to attract and support both local and foreign investors, reinforcing Ogun’s position as Nigeria’s most industrialized state.

Governor Abiodun extended an invitation to potential investors to explore the diverse opportunities available in Ogun State, indicating his anticipation for an even larger and more successful trade fair in the coming year.

The closing ceremony marked the end of an event that successfully showcased Ogun State’s growing business landscape, promising a bright future for industrialists and entrepreneurs.
