Governor Charles Soludo of Anambra State has issued a public threat to sack Paschal Aniegbuna, the transition committee chairman of Ogbaru Local Government Area (LGA), over perceived incompetence.
In a viral video capturing the incident, Soludo expressed his displeasure while inspecting an ongoing project that he deemed unsatisfactory and unprofessional. He specifically criticized Aniegbuna for allowing the construction of a fence on a walkway intended for a major road.
During the inspection along Ododoukwu Road in Okpoko under Ogbaru LGA, Soludo demanded the immediate demolition of the fence to make way for the construction of a pedestrian walkway.
“If I come here again and I see any of this rubbish, I will sack you publicly. You are incompetent,” Soludo exclaimed in the video.
He further instructed the local government chairman to ensure the swift demolition of the structure, warning of potential dismissal if the task was not completed promptly.
