The Imo State Police Command has condemned the attack and pledged to apprehend the culprits responsible for the heinous act.

Commissioner Aboki Danjuma led operatives to assess the crime scene and instructed them to collaborate with other security agencies to apprehend the attackers.

Additionally, the police have intensified visibility patrols and intelligence-led raids in Okigwe to prevent future attacks on security personnel.

The Commissioner expressed condolences to the families of the deceased officers and assured that the perpetrators would face justice.
