A man known as Chikwado, who was buried alive for spiritual protection before his planned trip overseas, has been reported dead.

As per reports, Chikwado’s visa had been approved, and he traveled to his hometown, Ugbaike, in Igbo-Eze North LGA of Enugu State, to inform his father.

While staying in the village, his father proposed they visit a native doctor for a ritual to ensure his success abroad.

They met with Onuwa, the native doctor, who advised that Chikwado should be buried alive for 1 hour and 30 minutes before being dug up.

However, after the time had passed and they exhumed him, they tragically found that he had already died.

According to reports, the police have arrested both the deceased’s father and the native doctor.
