Hon. Rinsola Abiola, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Citizenship and Leadership, has been selected as a Munich Young Leader for the year 2025.
Announcing the development, Abiola expressed her excitement, stating:
“I am pleased to share that I’ve been selected as a Munich Young Leader for the year 2025.”
She further revealed that she would be joining other young public servants from across the world at the Munich Security Conference from February 14-16, 2025, saying, “God willing.”
In her statement, Abiola acknowledged the role of key stakeholders in her selection, extending her appreciation to the German Embassy for the nomination and YIAGA Africa for their role in facilitating it. She also expressed gratitude to the Honorable Minister, Comr. Ayodele Olawande, for his constant support and encouragement.
Looking ahead to the event, she said:
“I look forward to meeting all the other delegates and gaining new insights that will enable me better deliver in my current role.”
The Munich Young Leaders program, organized in collaboration with the Munich Security Conference and Körber Foundation, brings together emerging leaders from various sectors to engage in high-level discussions on global security and policy issues.
