The Ogun State Commissioner for Transportation, Olugbenga Dairo, has assured residents of the state that 2025 will bring a more efficient and effective transportation system.
Speaking through the ministry’s Permanent Secretary, Adesoji Adewuyi, Dairo emphasized the importance of the transportation sector in driving the socio-economic growth of Ogun State.
In a statement issued to Saturday PUNCH, Dairo said, “As we step into this new year, I encourage every staff member to approach their duties with renewed energy and commitment. The transportation sector is the backbone of economic activities, and we must ensure seamless service delivery to address the needs of our people.”
The commissioner reaffirmed the ministry’s commitment to fostering collaboration with allied agencies and stakeholders in the transportation sector.
He disclosed that plans were underway to enhance partnerships with key organizations such as the Traffic Management Authority, Vehicle Inspection Service, and other relevant bodies to ensure efficient transportation management across the state.
“In this new year, we will intensify collaboration with all allied agencies. This synergy is critical to improving traffic flow, ensuring safety, and implementing sustainable transport initiatives that will positively impact our citizens,” he added.
