Excitement is building among Imeko-Afon Local Government Area residents following the All Progressives Congress (APC) endorsement of Hon. Theophilus Olorode as its Chairmanship candidate for the November 16 local government elections.
The announcement came after a meeting of APC leaders and stakeholders in the LG, where the party also endorsed 10 Councillorship candidates for various wards.
At the event held at the APC Secretariat in Imeko, APC Chairman Hon. Segun Olaotan, along with other party leaders, praised Olorode’s “capacity, honesty, integrity, and credibility” as key reasons for their support.

“We have unanimously endorsed Olorode because he is a man of the people. He has continually shown that he prioritizes the welfare of Imeko-Afon residents. He is deeply embedded in the community.”
“We are confident that with him as Chairman, the people of this local government will experience progressive and transformative leadership once more,” the party Chairman added.
Other notable attendees included Former APC Chairman of Imeko-Afon, Alh. Gausu Bello, Alh. Olusoji Taiwo, Ward Chairmen, and various party leaders.
