In a significant move reflecting his dedication to party unity and the progress of Ijebu North Local Government, Prince Fatai Adesegun held a strategic meeting with All Progressives Congress (APC) leaders in the area.
During the meeting, Prince Adesegun applauded the APC leadership for their unwavering commitment and loyalty to the party’s advancement. He stressed the importance of grassroots mobilization, unity, and proactive measures to secure the party’s continued success in upcoming elections.
As a gesture of goodwill, the Ago Iwoye Prince donated 100 bags of rice and N5 million to support APC members in Ijebu North. Additionally, he contributed N1 million for the renovation of the local APC Secretariat, showcasing his dedication to enhancing the party’s operational capacity.
Prince Adesegun expressed his appreciation for the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Dapo Abiodun, and Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola (YAYI). He praised Senator Adeola’s commitment to public welfare and his visionary leadership.
Adesegun took the opportunity to call for support for Senator Adeola’s 2027 gubernatorial bid, describing him as the ideal leader for Ogun State. He highlighted Senator Adeola’s extensive experience and focus on development, which he believes would drive the state to greater heights.
“Senator Adeola has demonstrated exceptional leadership with a clear vision and the capability to transform Ogun State. Supporting his gubernatorial ambition is key to securing a brighter future for our state,” Adesegun stated.
Prominent APC leaders and stakeholders were present, including Hon. Mosun Oladipupo, Ijebu North Local Government Chairman, the Local Government Secretary, other executives, and all 11 Ward Chairmen. Notable figures such as Chief Dele Mogaji, a former two-term Vice Chairman of the Local Government, and Mrs. Bukky Onadeko, a leading women’s advocate in the area, also attended.
