The governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has sanctioned a minimum wage of N85,000 for civil servants within the state.

This decision aligns with the federal government’s endorsement of N70,000 as the minimum wage across Nigeria.

Governor Sanwo-Olu announced this in an interview on Channels TV this evening.
