In a significant boost to educational development, Senator Shuaib Afolabi Salisu has facilitated the establishment of a new Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Centre at the Government Technical College, Olobe Idiaba, Abeokuta.
This initiative, made possible in collaboration with the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) and the Federal Ministry of Communications and Digital Economy, underscores his commitment to advancing digital learning in Ogun Central Senatorial District.
This marks yet another milestone in Senator Salisu’s ongoing efforts to revolutionize education through technology. These state-of-the-art centers provide students with the tools they need to engage with modern technology, offering them the opportunity to explore new horizons in the digital age.
As Chairman of the Senate Committee on ICT and Cyber Security, Senator Salisu has been a vocal advocate for the role of ICT in driving economic growth. His work in providing educational infrastructure reflects his belief in the transformative power of technology, particularly in preparing young people for the demands of the 21st-century workforce.
Senator Salisu’s dedication to empowering the next generation through education and technology is both commendable and inspiring, serving as a model for impactful leadership in youth development.
