Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State and chairman of the Southern Governors Forum has extended heartfelt congratulations to Senator Monday Okpebholo, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, on his impressive victory in the Edo State governorship election.

Official results indicate that Senator Okpebholo received 291,667 votes, solidifying his role as the next governor of Edo State.

Governor Abiodun commended the outcome, labeling it a “significant and well-earned transformation” that promises pragmatic and progressive development for the region.

“This victory reflects the will of the people of Edo State, and we are confident that Senator Okpebholo will achieve remarkable socio-economic progress,” Abiodun remarked.

As Senator Okpebholo prepares to take office, Governor Abiodun wished him “great success in serving his constituents.”
