The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Tajudeen Abbas, and the Chief of Staff to the President, Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, have made notable contributions at three recently concluded Remo Day 2024 celebration.
During the event, Rt. Hon. Abbas donated ₦25 million and pledged to provide a brand-new, royal-befitting vehicle for the Akarigbo of Remo Land, His Royal Majesty, Babatunde Adewale Ajayi. Rt. Hon. Gbajabiamila also supported the event with a donation of ₦20 million.
The announcements were made by the Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun, during his speech at the celebration. Governor Abiodun praised the dignitaries for their generosity and commitment to the development of Remo Land.
The contributions were met with immense gratitude from attendees, adding to the vibrancy of the occasion, which showcased the unity and cultural richness of the Remo people.
