Team Ogun has made a remarkable impact at the 8th National Youth Games in Asaba, Delta State, securing a total of 20 medals as of September 16th.
The team’s medal count comprises 5 Gold, 6 Silver, and 9 Bronze, with notable achievements in Shooting, Golf, Scrabble, and Badminton.
In a historic achievement, Team Ogun earned its first-ever medal in Para Table Tennis, marking a significant milestone for the team.
Shooting star Onabiyi Atinuke Imoleayo broke a national record in the Female 10m Air Rifle event, leading Ogun’s shooters to win 3 Gold, 1 Silver, and 1 Bronze. This impressive performance has earned them a spot on the national team from the Nigeria Shooting Sports Federation (NSSF).
