President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has returned to Nigeria after a two-week trip to the Netherlands and Saudi Arabia.
The Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) reported that Tinubu arrived in Abuja on Wednesday morning and was received at the Aso Rock Villa by members of his administration.
Lately, there has been public speculation about the President’s whereabouts.
The presidency announced on Tuesday that Tinubu would return to Nigeria on Wednesday from his European travels.
Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser on Information and Strategy to the President, shared this in a statement on his X account.
“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, along with his team, will return to Nigeria tomorrow from Europe,” Onanuga stated.
Tinubu left Abuja on April 23 for an official visit to the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
During his time in the Netherlands, he took part in the Nigerian-Dutch Business and Investment Forum, which brought together leaders from both countries.
He also had separate meetings with King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima of the Netherlands.
From the Netherlands, Tinubu traveled to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, to attend the World Economic Forum Special Meeting on Global Collaboration, Growth, and Energy for Development on April 28-29.

This marked his second visit to Saudi Arabia in five months.
