Tiwa Savage, the Nigerian singer, has confirmed the release date for her much-anticipated debut movie, ‘Water And Garri.’

Previously hinting at her venture into the film industry, Savage took to social media on Thursday, April 4, 2024, to unveil the long-awaited release date.

According to her announcement, the movie is set to premiere on May 10, 2024, exclusively on the global streaming platform, Prime Video.

Accompanied by a promotional poster featuring herself alongside Nollywood stars Jemima Osunde and Mike Afolayan, Savage expressed her excitement, stating: “My beautiful people, our movie @waterandgarrifilm has a date. See you May 10th @primevideo.”

Titled after her latest EP, ‘Water And Garri,’ the movie is executive produced by Tiwa Savage, marking her foray into the world of filmmaking.
